President Tinubu Welcomed in Lagos for Sallah Celebration

As Muslim Faithful prepare for upcoming Sallah celebration, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived Lagos State.

He was received by the state governor, Jide Sanwo-Olu on the evening of Friday June 14 at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

Tinubu was a former governor of Lagos, an All Progressive Congress (APC) and it is expected that he would use the medium to meet with the political party in the state, solidifying and increasing the bound.

The state governor, Sanwo-Olu who took to his social media account to announce the arrival of the president.

“This evening, I welcomed His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in preparation for the upcoming Sallah celebration.

It is always an honor to welcome the President back home to Lagos and to partake in the festivities together. The reception marks the beginning of the Sallah festivities, a significant event in the Muslim calendar.

President Tinubu’s return to Lagos for this occasion underscores the importance of unity and tradition during this festive period.
